Srivanchi Arts and Science College was founded in the year 2023 by the Sudharsan Educational Trust with the aim of disseminating knowledge in the fields of ARTS and SCIENCE in the rural district of Pudukkottai. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY.
SRIVANCHI offers 7 Under-Graduate Programmes in the fields of TAMIL, ENGLISH,COMPUTER SCIENCE,COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, DATA SCIENCE, COMMERCE AND COMMERCE WITH COMPUTER APPLICATIONS.
SRIVANCHI has an excellent infrastructure, well-equipped Laboratories and state-of-the-art Computer and IT Center, Central Library, spacious Auditorium, hygienic Canteen, and separate hostels and gyms for boys and girls.
All the branches of Arts and science have their own Technical association which organize Technical meetings, symposia, etc. in their respective discipline. National level technical symposia are conducted every year. The valuable inputs gained help the students to hone their technical, managerial and organizational skills.,
The college is situated on NH 336 in Sathiyamangalam about 12 km from Pudukkottai. The campus is 40km close to Trichy and 30km to Anna University Regional Office, Trichy.The outcome of the discussions in the committee/cell/ are noted and forwarded to the Head of the Institution who in turn discusses relevant matters with HOD’s and if required submits to the Governing Council for ratification.
The Institute has a perspective plan for development. It is developed by Principal with the help of HOD‘s of various departments under the guidance of Governing Council.Based on the academic schedule given by University academic calendar is prepared.The academic calendar includes the list of pre-planned programmes of various departments and examination schedules are prepared.
